We have been working with our storage vendor to improve both the performance and stability of the new BisonNet storage software. While we have made some definite progress on the performance front, we do know that there are currently some stability issues that we’re facing. The vendor is actively troubleshooting them and already has some software fixes in the works to address our issues. You may use the BisonNet environment, but we must caution that it’s possible that jobs may be interrupted at some point due to the stability issues. As always, we recommend copying any resulting data that you generate down to your local system when your jobs complete.
Please know that we have been working continuously over the past several weeks to try to correct the issues we’ve been experiencing. This has been and remains our top priority. Progress has certainly been slowed with our vendor due to the holidays, but they are committed to seeing us through these issues. We certainly sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.
