BisonNet data is stored in a central storage system. The majority of your data is stored in your Linux home directory. We can also make other storage directories available as necessary, typically for data that needs to be shared amoung a group of people. Please note that data is currently backed up once per week. If you’re concerned about any intermdiate data/results, we recommend copying it elsewhere (e.g. local storage, Google Drive, etc.).
There are several options for transferring your data in and out of BisonNet:
In addition, there is one additional storage system called the Data Transfer Node that can be useful for high speed data sharing via Globus.
Please also be aware that storage quotas are enforced so it may be advisable to review that information as well.
